Arrived at the Carlsbad KOA mid afternoon, Mountain Time, on a beautiful day. Carolyn took this picture as we walked the dogs around the campground.

Hurray you are on your way and seeing the country instead of passing through as so many do. Wish I could be with you part of the time to tell you things that happened when I was there either with our own traier and trips or with your Grandparents. Like Shreveport when Mom wanted to stay at the Magnolia motel because of the name and we chased mice all night. Have a great trip and stop and smell a few roses. See you soon. Love Aunt Betty

PS - Mom, I picked a different gown because the first was sold out. Also your flowers are still doing well and the lilac (?) is blooming.
